My view on MCSE study

Recently, advertisements of Computer international certification are widely overwhelming in the campus, street and lanes and so. After a consultation, I decided to take the MCSE, which is chosen by a large number of people. At that moment, there are two main reasons that can account for my choice. Firstly, there are specialized study classes for me to attend. Secondly, such certification conforms to developing trend of the time.

While registering, I thought that I could not keep learning to the end, nor did I have any extravagant hope for getting a certificate. In order to put some pressure on myself, I made a hard decision to pay all the fees once only, thus I wouldn’t let myself shrink back in the midway, only to force myself to learn. I still remember the situation that when I attended the lecture for the first time. I was really on nettles, both for the fear of unable to understand the teacher and for the worry of his perfunctory teaching. However, I was deeply attracted by the teacher, who had a special feature of witty words, rich experience and teaching method from the superficial to the deep. The first class was the “network foundation “. Regarding the weak foundation of my knowledge of the Microsoft, I felt that it was really difficult to learn. But I didn’t feel boring in the whole morning. I am definitely sure that I have selected a right course!

The training school has a strong advantage with its advanced teachers, enjoyable environment of computer, relatively high machine configuration and a long time of operating the computer. If you want to pass the MCSE, you must operate the computer instead of only reading. Every afternoon, there were some special teachers coming to answer the students’ doubt in the training center, which was very essential for the layman like me. I participated in 5 - week training systematically. In that period, I confined myself at home to study diligently and assiduously. Therefore, I reaped a lot, from unknowing to knowing some. By the end of the course, I did not attend the test eagerly, but reviewing the knowledge while taking the exams step by step. I took a test every week, and finally passed all the six courses one-time, moreover I gained high scores in some courses.

After testing MCSE, I have a strong sense of achievement after taking the exam of MCSE. Because during the nearly 3 month-long time of concentration for my tests, from the very begging’s computer illiterate, I started to assemble Windows 2003 Server, and gradually I have been “skilled in the computer” now.

The MCSE represents your ability of applying the product technology, which means that in order to become a good MCSE you need more deep understanding of these products and more theoretical knowledge. Therefore, getting the MCSE certificate is just the first step of becoming a MCSE, but only through a constant study can you become a true MCSE and qualified MCSE. For example, I went to a company for interview on the third day after passing the test.  More than an hour later, I was employed in that company where I am working at now.
 
Although I had studied very diligently for several months, I was still far insufficient in the actual ability and felt straining in the afterward work. Therefore, I still kept charging myself with knowledge, marching to a higher IT certification. Through a period of practice in the company, now I can design, realize, maintenance and support the information system, use Microsoft Windows Server network operating system and the integrated server products of BackOffice in various environments, and basing on the Windows 2003 platform and Microsoft server software I can carry on the commercial demand analysis of the commercial solution and design and implementation of the infrastructure. The main task of the implementation includes the design, installment, configuration and trouble clearing of the network system.

Finally, I want to emphasize is that the MCSE is an applied certification. Study and attend the test serves for application. After getting the certificate, people should apply what they have learned into the actual practice, which is the final aim of MCSE. I do not object to make some pertinent preparations for the tests, such as large number of test questions, training courses and so on. I also quickly prepared for the examination through some exam pools’ training. I just used the pass4sure of Q&As, and still feel good of its function, for the fact that you may find most questions in the test. Therefore, those who want to pass the tests may refer to its exam pools. After all everybody has a wish to pass the test and get the certificate as soon as possible. But don’t just take the test for the test itself, because you cannot grasp the knowledge only through memorizing the exercises again and again. If you have gained the certification and therefore found a good job through this way, but still lacking a relating work competence, then you will be in a very awkward and even very unfavorable condition.
